An award-winning design leader who has been crafting products and experiences since 1995. Leading teams from design sprint through deployment—with results proven by analytics and recognized by the industry. Currently designing experiences for emerging interfaces and new financial products in incubation at Fidelity Labs.
Responsible for owning the product experience, as part of a dedicated team functioning as a "startup" within Fidelity Investment's innovation group. Fidelity Labs uses human-centric methodologies (such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup) to tackle the big problems in our customer’s financial lives.
Prior to Fidelity Labs, I helped transition PBS’s science documentary series NOVA, from honored broadcast institution to digital media brand. I led user experience and design in the extension of the brand architecture into the digital space, producing an extensive list of blogs, apps, games and original content—including the NOVA Labs platform, which in 2014 was named to Fast Company’s list of the world’s ten most innovative companies in EdTech.
Since graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1997, clients have included some of the most respected brands in media, technology, and finance. Some of these clients include Agfa-Gevaert Group, The Chicago Tribune, EMC Corporation, The Harvard Institute of Politics, IBM, NASA, and PBS. My work has been named Best of 2012 by Apple and selected for inclusion in the AIGA's National Design Archive. I have been honored by Communication Arts, The Japan Prize, MITX, and The Webby Awards among others.
